Salt Lake is the biggest market we serve and the only one where the building is harder than the drive.
Downtown means freight elevators, loading docks with booking slots, security desks and parking that has to be arranged rather than assumed. A craps table does not fit in a passenger lift. None of that is a problem when we know a week out. All of it is a problem at five o'clock on the day.
So the useful thing to tell us about a Salt Lake venue isn't the square footage — it's how we get in. Which door, which lift, whether there's a dock, and what time we're allowed to use it.
The events are the widest range we see anywhere. Corporate holiday parties in hotel ballrooms, client evenings on office floors with the desks pushed back, fundraisers and galas, wedding receptions, and every so often a converted warehouse where the ceiling is thirty feet up and the room does something wonderful to the noise of a craps table.
December books out first and hardest here. If your date is a Friday or Saturday in December and you're downtown, treat it as urgent rather than upcoming.

More rooms than anywhere else we go: hotel ballrooms, dedicated event spaces, office floors, historic buildings and converted industrial space. That variety is exactly why we ask about access before we ask about anything else.
Getting there
Forty minutes or so down the freeway. The drive has never been the hard part of a Salt Lake booking.
